Very first try at growing peppers. Rymerpt 2014 ( 2 pod CHALLENGE VIDEOS)

The seedlings are Thai and the egg carton is Thai seeds. The other little pots have habenero seeds. I'm also gonna try some supperhot seeds when the package arrives from Smiley. (Thanks again Mike)

I'll post progress often I'm sure. Yesterday the seedlings moved from a small six pack to their new nesting grounds. All rest in nothing but organic seed starter soil and water.

This glog is great! Keep up the good work man! And congrats on the sons bday... I'm really apprehensive - as my first is just now 6 weeks in utero! ...it's crazy, I'm excited/scared/and amazed all at the same time.

13 years and seems like yesterday. I truley remember the tail end when we could feel and see him move. She would lay on her side and if I placed my arm around her he would kick at my arm. It was like we were wrestling.
 
I got my hands on some worm tea. One of my coworkers had a gallon jug given to him. He is not doing a garden this year so gave it to me. I have been bottom watering/feeding by 3/4 filling a storage container with water and a squirt of 10-10-10. To this I have added half a pot of cold coffee (left over), and now about two cups of the worm tea. The storage container holds about 25 gallons. So I figure all my witches brew is still rather diluted. I float the potted teen Thai plants untill I see signs of liquid seeping onto the top of the soil. My Thai teens seem to think its yummy. I have so many flowers on my four teenagers that they look like decorated Chistmas trees.

Just to show the storage container. Actual liquid color is more brown with the worm tea and coffee in it.
 
See you have got the hang of the close-up photos!  I've started the germination process tonight for 6 types, just about to start off my own glog!

Started the hardening off process with most of my

seedlings. Eight others are not quite ready for the field

trip outside.

The ones I put outside are in theshade and will stay

outside for just a couple hours.

Thanks for dropping by. My teenagers were grown fron a seedling sixpack I bought from the local nursery.
 
I have been hardening off and decided to replant two of my biggest seedlings to their final homes tonight.

Your tea mix seems to be working pretty well.
 
Impatiant me. The Thai teenagers, like I have mentioned, are covered with little peppers. I picked the biggest of them to taste. It was nearly an inch long and green but with a touch of black. That little sucker, though not ready to be picked, had a decent little kick. AWESOME
