volunteer pepper plant

Last year I grew only jalapenos here this year it's okra ,but when this came up I kept on watering it thinking it was a jalapeno.
Now it is big and I have no idea what it is , Can anyone tell what pepper this could be ?

Thanks,
Bob

i never had a serrano pod point upward but i have only grown a few types, nor have any of my fresno or hot wax pointed upward.
i kind of think they more resemble a superchili or perhaps tabasco. i am just looking at my baby tabasco and they have similar leaf qualities as your plant. i would have to run out to the greenhouse to check my superchili.

How hot are the pods? Definitely not a Tabasco. Probably c. anuum of some variety. There are lots of S.E. Asian varieties that look like that, most of them a very hot. Unless you dropped some pods out there it is likely some hybrid that a bird brought you as a present.
