Wahlee's 2014

So, as I'm already growing Primo's, I thought I might as well start a new topic

It's getting cold and dak and I haven't cleaned up outside yet, cause I can't be bothered gardening in this weather.

Anyway, here's my 2014 list. Will sow the rest at the end of november. Maybe one or two varieties will be added, but I think this is pretty much it.

1.    7-pod Primo
2.    Trinidad Scorpion Yellow CARDI
3.    Datil
4.    Aribibi Gusanito
5.    Aji Crystal
6.    Habanero Mustard
7.    Habanero Peruvian White
8.    Habanero Guadalupe
9.    Papa Joe’s Scotch Bonnet
10.  Reaper
11.  Bhut Jolokia Caramel
12.  Scorpion Moruga Chocolate
13.  Scorpion Sunrise
14.  Habalokia Peach
15.  Moruga Satan Strain
16.  7-pod Primo Yellow

I will be growing only about 20 plants next year, due to lack of space and too many peppers (no, not puppy's) in previous years.

Plants are looking great.  Do you know what causes cracking like this?  It happens to most of my Choc Habs and some of my MoAs for some reason, but not my other plants.

Don't know about the cracks. I understands the CARDI's have them more often. Haven't seen it anywhere else.

Great update Wally!

Plants look superb!

I would guess the cracks are from excessive water, I had a few do that after a soaking rain.

Thanks Scott,

That would explain a lot, though I still think it's strange because no other plants have it.
Anyway, you learn something every year.

I won't use the feeder packs I got from xtreme gardening anymore. As I use soil with nutrients for two months.

Looks awesome :)

RE: Xtreme Gardening. If you're refering to the Azos/Mycos, it's still handy to use on new starts, and while I would argue the effectiveness in a nutrient rich soil, there are still enough benefits if you've got some kicking about.

Almost the last harvest of the season. Good thing we've had a good aftersummer.

This year I have been happiest with TS Sunrise and TS CARDI. Habanero started great, eventually didn't produce a lot.

Most disapointed by Papa Joe's Scotch Bonnet (3 pod from 2 plants) en Habanero Mustard (because I didn't like the color).

Gonna try to overwinter the reaper.
