Here are my growdown plants and a deda de moca, a peach bonnet scorpion x, and a Sweet Twister for my daughter to take to garden club at school.

Jeeze, Louise! You're doing a fantastic job! Makes me feel extra stoopid, torching my first 6 grow down seeds, then having zero germination from the remaining 6 seeds.

It just works better , with no wasted space.

Yeah I should have ordered square #1 pots too, the round ones from the nursery don't fit in trays good either

I like the 51/2 x 51/2 x 6 Jumbo Senior square pots.
A full 2-liters. The #1 nursery pots aren't a lot bigger,
about 3 quarts. I use both since I have sort of a limited
grow. I just have to remember how much space I've got.

It's been about 3 weeks. I'm still holding out hope, but it's fading with every day that passes. They're in moistened coir on an 85° germination mat.

I hope they germ for ya! I don't think I had any take that long, matbe one straggler, but most were shedding their helmets around 10 days.

I would send you out some more but I gave my friend the last 3 seeds the other day.

In other news, most of my plants are coming out of their little deficiencies or whatever. Probably go ahead and feed them on the next watering too. I dropped my ph pen in a jug of water so it isn't working, so I know a teaspoon of and a teaspoon of one step grow gets the ph down around 6.

They don't seem to mind back to back feedings, but that could be because they were deficient.

I have 37 left in the last tray and ran out of pots, I might just toss these into the clear cups from last year. I raised the lights and can fit 7.5 1020 trays under each light. So I have room for about 14 trays of tomatoes and schwartzbeeren, might start some other veggies, who knows.

Same deal as the bulbous though, it was the only pod like that out of 6 plants.

I can't remember which the gnarly pod came from.
