So tonight one of my doctor friends who has gobs of money (married into a fortune then became a doc) had a wedding reception for her daughter and her hubby.
Hindu families. Cool as hell, the lot of them. There was music, there was dancing. There was food I couldn't begin to pronounce the names of.
Great people. The music was kickin. The dancers...the dancers. Womens hips can move in the most magical ways. I don't know if there was some message in the dance itself, but I was absolutely captivated by one them.
No meat, dunno if it's a Hindu thing or if the families were vegetarian or something, but it was interesting and strange and delicious.
Tons of my doc friends from the hospital.
So glad I went. I think I have some pics and maybe a short vid I can upload tomorrow (tired as all hell tonight, was up till 3am last night watching the 7 hour long Ghost Adventures Live show and didn't sleep much after that).
It's really cool getting out of your comfort zone and doing something completely off the wall every now and then. Life is a great thing to have been blessed with, and experiences like tonight make it all the better.
Shake yourself up, my fellow THPers!
