We got about 12" of snow yesterday in Metro Detroit. It's about -8 actual temp, and about 20 below wind chill. Schools are closed, and tomorrow is going to be colder. -12 actual high...and -36 wind chill. Snow drifts are crazy at my house...forget shoveling as it's too cold and it blows back within hours anyways. I only got stuck three times driving to work...once getting out of my driveway, and twice in the same spot (to and from work) at the intersection of my subdivision.
No worries. It's Michigan! I was grilling 4 days ago, and it'll probably be 40 next week. That's how it goes.
We were talking at work today. What state has the biggest temp swings year round? I mean...it's going to be -12 tomorrow, and reached 104 last august. That's a 116 degree swing for us. Anyone have anything similar?
