Something larger in yellow to replace Trinidad Perfume.
Larger variety of Aji Dulce or possibly Aji Jobito or ...rocotillo (chinense)
 
Lumbre as in fire or lumbre as in NuMex Lumbre peppers? I grew Numex Lumbre. Plenty hot for Anaheim but the uses were mostly limited to powder. I was not too thrilled with them fresh. Skin is tough and flesh is very thin.

The New Mexican chili. They are delicious with nice kick. Gotta pick them green and roast them.

As well as hopefully some more legit seed for reaper, Primo, and choc. bhutlah. Not knocking the seller since I bought OP seeds, but I'm thinking isolated this time.
I also want to get some BBGs and bonnets next year. Probably one of every plant because I don't have the room for any more with that kind of variety.
 
My grow is all year round, but im thinking of adding a great cooking chili. As I often do thai related cooking cuisine like Panang curry, a red low habanero heat like chili would be decent I think, maybe a piri piri pepper.
 
I just added Bahamian goat if people are looking for inspiration for next year :D

For my Chocolates I always grow JHC and Fatalii Chocolate. Both have great flavors.
 
Jays Peach is my nemeses. After growing it for several years and getting one or two pods per plant I finally admitted defeat and swore not to grow it anymore. I have been considering Wicked Mikes Peach for next year as they seem pretty productive in most gardens.
 
I will be limiting most my Chinense varieties, as my over wintered plants are just now flowering here in Northern Arizona.
 
 
 
To answer the OP, I'm adding way too many things to my 2019 list to chronicle here, but the most noteworthy addition will be a handful of baccatums. I grew one Bishop's Crown this year... Next year, I'll try a few plants each of Sugar Rush Peach, Brazil Starfish, and Lemon Drops.

Jpgs are the only Super I'm growing right now that are showing any real productivity. Last year, I only grew one plant which I thought was dead a week after transplant, but it ended up huge and produce soooooo many pods, I almost got sick of them. I guess different ppl have different experiences with different strains, but I see jpgs as my early and prolific superhot...

As for late-producing chinense, last year in 7b (NJ) I got chinense pods early enough, and I thought I'd repeat that result this year. But a number of factors have totally reversed my chinense fortunes this year. It seems like I'll get some pods off most of my chinense plants, but they're sure to be very late and unlikely to be very plentiful.

Thank Gawd I planted a lot of annuums this year...

It's good to see I'm not the only one already planing for 2019.

I don't know how many of these I'll actually get to, but here's my aspirations for 2019:
Zapotec Jalapeño
Bahamian Goat
Harold's St. Barts
Criolla de Cocina

And I'd like to try a few of the Lindberg peppers, such as:
Aji Jobito
Aji Margariteno
Aji Rosita

Since this is only August, there's no telling how long this list will be by December. :)

Can recommend piripiri. Maybe slightly less heat than most thai peppers but not too far away and with a slight paprika flavor!
 
Using a chinense vs others can really change the curry. Thai Giant Orange (Prik Luang) would keep it close to authentic but they are probably not as hot as you want. Panang is usually milder than some other Thai curries anyway. Recently i used Aji Arnaucho in a curry. It did not alter the aroma/flavor much but the heat was nearly ideal for Panang.
 
Looks like Refining Fire Chiles has at least 4 of the seeds i need for next year.

We grew sugar rush this year. Came in slow but once they did they came in abundance, plants are completely loaded down now.
 
Next year will be my first “official” grow [emoji23] first was actually this year but a total bust since I didn’t know about this site and winged it and let’s just say WOW. After reading many posts I went at it all wrong. Lessons learned.

I will be using buckets this year and my wish list for the next grow is

Chiltepin
Cayenne
Habanero
Jalapeno
And at least one super hot, just haven’t decided yet.

Thanks in advance for all the awesome posts on here from growing 101 to soil prep and too many others to name. You folks are awesome source of info and inspiration.
