music WHAT! Death Metal Pop Music? Say Huh?

What on earth is this supposed to be? Just heard a crying sound/squeak from the local domestic rodent.

There's an absolutely amazing French black metal/pop fusion band called Alcest that I listen to pretty frequently, don't knock pop crossovers until you try it :)

Not sure what to make of that pop-metal sound. Sure different. Maybe I can use it to start turning my daughter away from that top 40 crap she listens to.

I remember seeing Cryptopsy in 2001 or 2002 with Diabolic, Krisiun, and Dimmu Borgir
 
If nothing else, the drumming alone in that show made it one of the best I've been to
