What did santa bring everybody?

Just a fun thread of posting what santa brought you over the holidays.

Myself, I received a nice shop-vac (I've been wanting one) a few tools, some clothes of course, (2) 3.8 bales of Pro-mix HP, a gift certificate to the local hydro store, and some gift cards to various places.

Anybody else get anything that they wanted?

It's been a rough year, after buying for the kiddies we didn't have anything left for eachother. I did get a flashlight from Momz this year.

Yea, this was our first Christmas with a little one (she's only 6 months) so we did buy her a few toys and clothes and such but next year I imagine it will be mostly spent on her. I am very fortunate and lucky to have the job I have (Im only 26 but own my own company) and I work with / for the government so the recession hasnt hit me as hard as it has others.

Vincent my man!! I gotta some nice ferts and tools from the kids. Santa hooked the kids up HUGE!!!!

lol, same with us ... we gave the kids few but big gifts, like large flat pannel screen, tablet for sketching, clothes, shoes, video gaming stuff ... and although the kids did give me a nice 4 gallon ceramic pot and they gave my wife a very nice shirt, this year we opted out of gifting each other. Both my wife and I were impressed by their actions at 12 & 14 years old, we think it was the 12 Year old that sparked the idea :) That said, we had a wonderful time with all our family get togethers, peppers & great food!

Santa brought me a Yellow Crested Spider Monkey for X-mas

but I would rather have had a turkey
He was kindy chewy

Oh yea, my wifey did get me a electric cooktop, reason is because she says "I stink up the whole house" when I make sauces, so now I can / have to do it downstairs lol

A rare toy...

Favorite gift from Santa this year = Food saver and a 10" Cast Iron frying pan

Food Saver is awesome.
You can re-seal bags of chips with it too, multiple times, in their original bag, just press SEAL. (I use level 4).
Bags of ice for the cooler. Important papers in the safe. Nuts and bolts, etc etc etc.

I got a new Bison hide Wallet, some egg cups, a Tortilla press, and slippers.

Electric razor and a jumper. Couldn't afford to do Christmas cause of our wedding, so I sent nothing and received little

It's not that, I make close to 6 figures, it's the fact there are 3 of them, they're at the age they want expensive name brand gifts, we just bought a house, and had to get the wifey a new car, high elec bills due to a refrigerant leak on a heat pump, and I wrecked my car the week before christmas lol. Eveything snowballed...I don't live beyond my means but next year I'm starting shopping in July.

I understand that, we had a leak in our heater so when we turned the heat on it was just using the strip heat and running constantly = $450 power bill. Luckily our daughter doesnt understand much yet and is happy with a $5 toy or heck even the wrapping paper haha.

Exactly, I got a bill for 15 days that said I owed $500@6.2c/kwh I called them and said that's ridiculous, they credited me some back. Then I fought with the home warranty company to cover it and turns out I owed $300 for them to DISPOSE of the old parts. They make money when they turn in refrigerant and copper and I had to pay them to take it. Needless to say I'm on a budget to build my savings up again.
