seeds What is the longest you waited for a seed to germinate?

The longest I've waited was a little over a month for a capsicum galapagoense seed. It ended up dying on me after it germinated . I don't wait longer than 2 weeks for superhots. I would if I only had one seed of a variety left though.

Wow that is long.  The dedication to keep watching them must have been intense.  Not forgetting about keep them moist and even just remembering that they are still there while all your other plants were all producing.

Sealed containers are your friend. No worrying about moisture levels.

I have lots of seeds at about 3 weeks with nothing showing. I'm going to leave them until Valentines Day and then start more.

The longest was 25 days for Choc Bhut last year . Now I have a lot of Wilds sowed on Jan 10 and only Most Prolific Chacoense sprouted.
