I'm not sure what this is.

Really bro. There is no such cheese as 'Nacho'.

A proper taco is on two warm corn tortillas.
Al pastor, carne asada, carne enchilada, fish taco, or whatever you like.
Gimme a lime wedge for squeezin', pickled onions, pickled jalapenos, possibly shredded cabbage, and hot sauce/salsa.
 
I don't really have a preference of ingredients, as long as there is meat, salsa and cheese on it, and it's in a taco shell. I've had tacos with Chicken and bacon, fried fish, ground Beef, steak.

If there is no meat, it's a freaking salad in a shell and shall not pass.

Yeah sometimes we Americans can improve on the tradition. Well made fried taco shells are awesome.
 
Taco my @$$.
Gotta have a big flour tortilla for starters, corn for laters.
Steak sliced thin, marinated in a mild sauce.
Green, yellow and red bells.
Whatever hot pepper is available.
Oaxacan cheese.
'shrooms
lettuce
avacado
sour cream
olives
onions
Whatever hot sauce I happen to have laying around.
Some fresh cilantro, if available.
MOLE'!!!

Simple Chicken breast, refried beans, Cilantro, and Cheddar...

Crunchy Ground Beef Tacos. Corn Tortillas filled with seasoned, cooked ground beef and cheddar, then "toothpicked" closed and deep fried. Cracked open and filled with shredded Cabbage, Cheddar and Jack cheese.
I don't remember what went into the Quesadillas....

barbacoa de borego, barbacoa de res, al pastor, tripas, lingua....for the meaty goodness
fresh cilantro, chopped spanish or white onion, queso fresco
fresh corn tortillas, steamed or griddled

fresh tomatillo salsa verde
and a fresh grilled jalapeno with a squeeze of lime

...this is a proper taco...

but scoville's is looking really tempting
