I know that some small town grocery stores will buy produce from local farmers.

Ever consider doing that with your excess? Or even if they wouldn't buy them, maybe just give them to the store if they agree to sell them at an appropriate price in an effort to make more chiliheads.

So after a lot of thinking today Ive decided to go back to what made me love hot peppers in the first place and reason for my handle. The Ghost pepper, the wife is gonna ask why Im dropping more on seeds but I feel I must be true to my original commitment, to grow all the forms of this awesome Pepper. I welcome any ghost pepper types that I may not have on my list.

So here is my revised list and will get updated as I discover more types I find:

And don't forget about those freebies!  You may end up even a tad further from plan.   ;)

I need to sit down and figure out my grow.

Managed 24 plants in pots last year, bought them all and a late start.  So planning on doubling that this year.

But so many generous peole have provided me with seeds, plus almost 30 packs from Justin (got almost as many freebees as I ordered there), and a large order from Mojo (there was a sale, got everything he had in stock that looked interested, may as well make it worth my while, ordering from Italy.)  Way more than I can grow this year!

I notice you're growing Espelette also. I have original seeds from a real French Piment D'Espelette farm from the 2018 and 2017 seasons if you're interested!

(edit - this about Solid Gold Bhut):  All I know is what Justin has posted on his site.  From red bhut seeds, a cross or off-pheno mustard bhut with somewhat lower heat.  Looking forward to growing it and will be starting the seeds this weekend. Justin mentions they were slow to germinate for him, but had a high germ rate (90 percent) with appropriate treatment (that he details on his site).

Yes, I would be interested.  I have more seeds than I can grow this year and would be happy to send some in trade.  Feel free to PM me, and glad to meet you, Marc!

Your buddy sounds like an outstanding kinda guy.  What are those peppers like?
Super hot and red.  Very tasty, a bit fruity. One had smooth peppers, one wrinkled.  I planted 2 of each, so who knows what will grow :P

Sounds exciting, cant wait to see these

So they say be careful what you wish for, well.... apparently WHP sent like 5 bags of seeds all Bhuts
So now theres:
Umorok (Manipur,India )
Bhut Jolokia strain 2
Orange Bhut
Peach Bhut WM x Jonah
Nagalah Brown

Dragons Breath maybe another go since my 2 existing ones are unstable. mine only had one that had me swallowing lava and saved those seeds. The others off the same plant were definitely less hot.
