whats this growth?

i'll try to get some pics up later, but i cut into one of my red habs to find in the center of the placenta right between a group of seeds more red pepper "meat"...what looks like almost another dwarfed wrinkled pepper....anybody heard of this or seen this before, what is it?

I had a lot of these in Dorset pods bro, i collected them and dried them to make little "bombs" to use in anything really. They are as hot as placenta IMO.

'Be interesting to breed a "double pepper". Call em preggo's.

lmao, not a bad idea, maybe if used seeds from the mutated peppers and only children with same mutated peppers and so on a few generations you could make this trait stronger? be interesting to try for our "preggo bombs"

I had them in 90% of my Rocotillos a few years ago but they were under-ripe and really didn't have much heat or flavor. I consider them a nuisance

I call it mutant brain syndrome. Its not a tumor!
