When do you use your Louisiana style hot sauce?

It rocks on nachos supreme. Loaded nachos with beans, meat, cheese, jalapenos, and sour cream. Hit it with a Louisiana style hot sauce and you're in business. You can coat all the nachos and it gets in all the grooves.

i use it to saute chicken strips or in stir fry's while I'm cooking. I really prefer thinner style sauce for those purposes. Chinese food as well...mixes well with the juices.

I just pour that style on a spoon and just drink most of all my runny vinegar sauces. Just got to be careful to be blowing out so you won't sniff the vinegar and spew the red all over and stain the wall. I can drink a small bottle in a sitting.

I could too but watch out for the salt in them. I whole bottle might kill you.:P

I add it to wings before eating and love it on fries. Its like adding vinegar to them with a bit of zing. Tabasco's great for it since it's so vinegary. Never add plain vinegar again to fries.:)

I use it in soups...it is great in chicken noodle soup right out of the can...Campbells, of course...

it has its uses....

Yeah man just look at this thread and try it. You need one in your cabinet. It may not be your favorite 99% of the time, it's that 1% we're discussing.

since no one has said eggs im going to throw that one out there. i will take salsa for my eggs anyday but i cant keep salsa in the fridge like i can hot sauce. also for these sauces is sauted shrimp or any dish that has shrimp in it.

Ya I forget.... i like Tabasco on eggs.

In addition to most of the above, I'd add fried catfish & hush-puppies.

OMG fried catfish with hush puppies is the bomb! You know you need fries with it too right? :)

Yeah, I need some now, and some Louisiana style sauce. I don't have any right now!

I have to admit that I don't have any of the above mentioned sauces in my collection. But, you all really have me thinking I may need to include a bottle in my arsenal. Then again........maybe not, since I have a hard time getting beyond the vinegar taste that is so strong. Good o'l Snakebite or Bent's Pain, goes well with everything y'all have already mentioned and much much more.

I use it in my cold remedy. See my profile for the recipe. I put the Tabasco chipotle in a chicken chili I made the other day. worked quite well. It would have been a better choice in my clam soup, I overdid the habenero powder in that one, couldnt taste the clams.

Tabasco on eggs is wonderful. I also use it in my bloody marys from time to time.

Melt a stick of butter and add an even amount of Tabasco or Texas Pete for a pleasantly med-warm chicken wing sauce. (but everyone already knows this!)

It's also great at masking the flavor of a hot-pocket...

If you need to "mask" a flavor you shouldn't be eating it :P
