Who puts the air in a chilli pod?

Skyjerk said:
The pods are gas permeable. Gases are exchanged via osmosis.

Thanks Skyjerk, that was the answer i was looking for :)

And IGG, i will rephrase "I like Bush not Hyrdo";)

I asked an expert and he sent me this picture of how it works.

Nice frigging dress passow!

Osmosis!?! That's no fun.

I was figuring that it was either pure oxygen (and therefore flammable), or co2. Either way, the air in my 7 pots would give you definite coughing fits.

Everytime I see this thread's tittle I think about the Jack in the Box spoof at a drive through window with the voice of a Jack Nicholson sound-alike taking an order... an audio spoof.

"Who put the freak in french fries?"

Ok nevermind but if you've heard it you know what I mean...
And now back to your "who puts the air in a chili pod?" thread... "Nature did."

HAHAHAHA! Boy that got a great laugh out of me, nice photoshoping. I'm trying to think of what picture that face shot of me came from and I'm stumpted.

I too prefer natural, but I only stray outside to one chemical (LSD-25)

Now THIS is the IGG we all know and love! :P

I have noticed that you get the best whiff of the pod's capsicum the very 1st time you cut into it. Could this be the "spicy air" escaping?
