Went to yuma arizona over the holiday weekend to do a little dove hunting. Was an amazing trip with a ton of birds flying. And best of all, my wife went with me for the first time ever. I plan to make some tacos with the meat. I'll post some pics of that tomorrow.

They can be pretty good. I guess I should have explained the second pic too. I'm marinating overnight in lemon lime soda before seasoning and cooking. Never done it before but some people swear by it.

I've had em marinated that way too Ed.  I was told that it helps retain moisture and lessen the 'gaminess' of the meat.  Dove and quail are my favorite game birds.  Looks like a great weekend for you and the wife.  Top notch all around!
