Chiltepin Hermosillo Dwarf is beginning to show some personality. To my eyes, and compared to other annuums I’m growing, the dwarf habit is already distinct:

(The bottom two sprouts emerged after transplant out of the germination tray. The younger, I only noticed today. Wild genetics definitely like to stagger their opportunities!)

My goal for this variety is to establish a stocky, tree-like form which I will attempt to keep alive for many years as a houseplant friend as much as a source of peppers.

Dwarf Chiltepin is looking great. I am behind
in updating, but will post pics soon, I hope.

The natural growth Red Tepin is entering
the flowering stage. The first flower set a
pod. Hope that is a sign of things to come.

I’m glad you asked! I’ve been trying to get a photo of it which shows it off, and I’m just not finding a good location. To not let perfect be the enemy of good enough, here it is!

Yet another adventurous, delayed germination to cull, as well. This variety has had a lot of fun characteristics!

Natural growth habit, smaller of two flexes.

Natural growth, #1NC container.
Wants to skyrocket w/o forking.

Topped. #2NC container.

c. galapagoense second year - @Wiriwiri.
Radical topping late 2021.
Has a handfull of berries hanging under the branches.

Rocopica c. cardenasaii x XL Brown Rocoto - @CaneDog.
Radical topping late 2021, two-liter square pot.

Covered with flowers. Shedding like a dog.
Fairly strong trailing habit. No berries, yet.

CGN 22795 c. praetermissum - Semillas La Palma.
White flower. Two-liter Square pot.
Natural growth habit. Looks much perkier early in the day.

Volunteer late 2021 c. chacoense purple flower - @Wiriwiri.
Beautiful spreading growth habit. #1NC container.
Lots of lilac-colored flowers. About a half-dozen
berries in the center of the plant.

conditions in the garage, but I am antsy to get
them outside.

Unfortunately some of those plants were too
wide for the black background, so had to use
a white tri-fold. I prefer the black backdrop, as
well.

I've been a bit busy ..my seedlings are getting to the toddler stage ..and I should get them new homes(pots)..hope
