fermenting Will fermenting different peppers together impart flavor from one to another?

I plan to ferment some peppers for sauce. I'll just be cutting them in half, not going to make them into mash first.
I will probably make different sauces with each type of pepper, but would prefer to just put them in one large container instead of a couple smaller ones. If I mix them together will the flavor of each be different as opposed to if I separated them?
