Winter came a bit early with the snow. Hope you plants are OK. We don't have the snow yet but the freeze is not far behind. Picked boxes of green tomatoes this AM and have plenty more to pick, though it's too wet right now. The green peppers may just get frozen.
besides the Swiss chard, all else is flat/brown, the carrots/beats/potatoes should be fine till I dig them up, I hope.
Peppers on the porch doing ok, not happy with the low temps but their living at least.
What was left in my garden got frozen out last night, down to 25f. The tomatoes and jalapeños didn't make it. Now we're expecting a little snow here this weekend, but it will probably melt off right away. Probably have permanent snow by Halloween though. Glad I have new seedlings growing under the light in the basement for the winter.
