willard3 Feb 6, 2009 #21 Do not try to wire with an extension cord. They are usually 18-wire and will not deliver enough power for multiple lamps w/o overheating and burning down your house. Buy a 20 amp wiring strip and plug into that; most even have circuit breakers.
