Jamison's 2012 Grow Log Now overwintering

[background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Hello everyone and welcome to my very own Glog. Got a later start than normal this year but I'll keep em under the lights 24/7 til end of May or early June, properly harden off and plant in 5 gallon buckets. All seeds came from Pepperjoes.com and pepperlover.com. Also one Burpee seed. Soaked seeds overnight on 3/27, and all went into coco pellets the next morning and placed into a propagator for germination. As soon as I had a sprout the dome came off for air circulation. Last Saturday, took all the sprouts I wanted mixed up 1 part perlite, 1 part vermiculite, and 3 parts Promix organic soil , took the netting off around the pellets and planted into the oh so famous solo cups, with holes drilled in the bottom of course. They have been under a 4 tube, 2x4 foot, 54 watt T5 since sprouting. Very impressed with that light. When seedlings finally start vegging I will be hittin em up with the old Fox Farm trio . Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. Also got some Organic CalMag that I might experiment with.[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Here is the line up:[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Pepper Joes:[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Giant Bhut Jolokia[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Scotch Bonnet[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Hot Cow Horn[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Butch T Trinidad Scorpion[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Anaheim[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Hot Jamaican[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Burpee:[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Hot Lemon[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]PepperLover:[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Bhut Jolokia Red[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Scotch Bonnet Red[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Scotch Bonnet Yellow[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Naga Morich[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Trinidad Seasoning[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Early Jalapeno[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Here is where I was about two weeks ago.[/background]

Ill post some more and update tomorrow night hopefully. They are all starting to pump out their first and second set of leaves and looking pretty decent. I'm having a tough time with the Naga's but hopefully they will pull through.

Plants are looking spectacular.

Nice fat stalks on those bad boys

Thanks Jamie! Glad you stopped by. You know, you gotta beat the hell out of em when their young, make em toughen up a little :D

Healthy and compact plants! They seem to be loving the sunbath. Good luck with your growing season!

Yes they are lovin the sun here in Wisconsin. I always keep the light as close as possible to them when they are seedlings so they don't stretch and become leggy. Thanks for stopping by Hab Head! Love to hear what people think! Thanks again!

Dude freakin' nice plants !! Lookin' like another great start to 2012 ! THP has some of the best !

Hey thanks for stoppin by man! Yes very good start to 2012 all over the board here on THP! I really appreciate the kind words man, I seem to take better care of plants than I do myself! Well at least you know my priorities are straight  Thanks again man, and cheers to the 2012 season!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!! 6/3/12

Hello THP! Things weather wise have been pretty unpredictable like always here in Wisconsin. They always say if you don't like the weather wait a minute and it will change, which for the most part is TRUE! Had cold, rainy, windy days last week. Plants got a little drenched but seem to dry out and their doing what their suppose to be now. Slow growth over the last couple weeks but, what can you do? On a good note I got the rest of my plants into my mom's garden last night and stopped by a little while ago to check on em and the seems happy, all leaves pointing towards the sky! Gotta love it. Well here's a couple pics. Pics in the garden were taken last night after transplant.

Great looking plants you have Jamison! I really like your raised beds too. Your plants look ready to produce heavy for you. Good luck with your season.

Mike

Right on. Your plants look healthy and happy. A little rain is very good for them, gets some dissolved N into their systems and makes for a nice green!
Would you like a little more rain your way? We just had almost .2 inches in 5 minutes!
You can do the math. Glad it didn't rain for two hours!

Yes send the rain brotha. Its gettin a little dry over this way. Just don't send that monsoon over here :shame: Thanks for stoppin by man, I'm tryin my hardest to keep em happy! Happy growin!

It looks like you are doing right by them, Jamison!
Don't worry, I will steer the monsoon a different way!
Actually, I can tolerate the rain, but that heavy of a
hail storm would level the plants. Fingers crossed!
