Jamison's 2012 Grow Log Now overwintering

[background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Hello everyone and welcome to my very own Glog. Got a later start than normal this year but I'll keep em under the lights 24/7 til end of May or early June, properly harden off and plant in 5 gallon buckets. All seeds came from Pepperjoes.com and pepperlover.com. Also one Burpee seed. Soaked seeds overnight on 3/27, and all went into coco pellets the next morning and placed into a propagator for germination. As soon as I had a sprout the dome came off for air circulation. Last Saturday, took all the sprouts I wanted mixed up 1 part perlite, 1 part vermiculite, and 3 parts Promix organic soil , took the netting off around the pellets and planted into the oh so famous solo cups, with holes drilled in the bottom of course. They have been under a 4 tube, 2x4 foot, 54 watt T5 since sprouting. Very impressed with that light. When seedlings finally start vegging I will be hittin em up with the old Fox Farm trio . Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. Also got some Organic CalMag that I might experiment with.[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Here is the line up:[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Pepper Joes:[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Giant Bhut Jolokia[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Scotch Bonnet[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Hot Cow Horn[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Butch T Trinidad Scorpion[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Anaheim[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Hot Jamaican[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Burpee:[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Hot Lemon[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]PepperLover:[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Bhut Jolokia Red[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Scotch Bonnet Red[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Scotch Bonnet Yellow[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Naga Morich[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Trinidad Seasoning[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Early Jalapeno[/background][background=rgb(233, 216, 193)]Here is where I was about two weeks ago.[/background]

Ill post some more and update tomorrow night hopefully. They are all starting to pump out their first and second set of leaves and looking pretty decent. I'm having a tough time with the Naga's but hopefully they will pull through.

Your garden is looking masterful. I love your raised beds...so much that I am going to kidnap you and hide you in the basement, meanwhile I will get facial reconstructive surgery and become you, just to garden in them...... ;)

Things are looking great Jamison, I do really love those beds and your plants look happy.

I hate you for the strawberry moonshine.....it twists me up down deep....enjoy yer Sunday bro! "It's what I love about Sunday" (insert country music)

Looking good Jamison. Those plants are gonna start podding up quickly with all that great weather

Hahahahah. Thats funny as hell man! You crack me up brotha! There is some nice soil in there. Plus I amended before planting with a shit ton of perlite and vermiculite. Need to brew up a fish tea soon because I don't get over there everyday like I would like to. Couple of them are getting a little pissed at me because of it. I have some more of that moonshine, I'll have to make my way down there one day soon and we'll give it whirl eh! Thanks for stoppin by man!

Yea buddy! They don't sell it in my area either but my wife goes down to Tennessee to visit her aunt and grandma and grandpa, so she picks me up a jar or two. Thanks for stoppin by man, really appreciate the kind words. And the cows been on there for a while now and still no ripening. Its so tempting just to rip a couple off man. Happy growin man!

Wow. Can't even see the soil anymore. Awesome foliage. How's the plants liking your tea. Or is this your first batch. Leaves so shiny and green.

I made a batch about 3 weeks ago with a couple different things, but had a little time on my hands, for once in my life, on the way home from work and stopped at the hydro store to look around a little and ended up gettin a couple things. But they reacted hella good to the last batch. Decided to step it up a notch this time and give the soil a feast. I know their will be a huge difference this time to the last. Keepin my fingers crossed! Thanks for stoppin by man!

What the hell man, how did you get those Scotch Bonnets and Bhuts to grow so incredibly fast, they are like one and a half month old but look like they are 3 months old!
I was thinking the exact same thing. Is it the temperature, the lights? WOW! Mine didn't even come close to that. Makes me want to top mine off now.

Yes topping helps to get bushier plants not really for vertical growth. T5's are amazing lights and I keep em running 24/7. With good soil and lights going all the time you'd get the same growth. Thanks for stoppin by man!

4th of July update!

Raised bed UPDATE 7/5/12

Got some pods going on over here! My mom seems to water em a little much and they are a little yellow, and I just gave them their first batch of AACT the other day so they might green up a little bit soon. But enough mumbo jumbo, here are some pics.

Looking great man! Those SM maters are my favorite for sauce. Low seed count and great, tomatoey taste.

Great choice!

Almost sounds like a sales pitch, I would have taken 2 from the way you explained them! LMAO! Thanks bro, glad you stopped by
