Having a seed germinate is the best bit
I'd love to grab some but Hammyhill is pretty far from my joint. I reckon you should plant them all in the same hole and grow a tangled mass of superhots. Imagine the cross you'd end up with.Damn the forecast says 41 for sunday now!

chilies are tough aren't they!!! I've done all kinds of horrible pruning and root pruning and transplanting and they dont care!! they always come back!

lolI saved seeds from some Birdseye's that I was given. They were all identical pods do I assumed they were from the same plant. I'm growing two of them. The bushes are identical but on one the pods are pointing down and the other the pods are pointing up...? Is this possible or are they two different varieties?

I've just been watering my chillies twice a day. I know that would make most people on here cringe but in 40' heat (104'F) you gotta do what ya gotta do. My plants are kicking ass.
Putting out Pods too 
This last Pod is supposed to be a ghost pepper. I don't think it looks like a bhut. Anyone else grown them? Do they look like this at the start?
Or another possibility is that the first plant was a hybrid to begin with, Lava.
Do the pods look identical except for one plant producing upright pods and the other pointing down? Sometimes some plants will just plain act funny. If the pods are identical, one plant might be just plain doing that?
