I was out of town for a while and came back to find some of my plants with severe aphid infestation, I'll deal with that but I also found this guy lurking around, any idea what he is? Thanks!  

Hi guys, I found this happy family living in my Caribbean Red plant. I'm pretty new to growing peppers but they're aphids, right? I've read about using soap, would this be ordinary dishwasher soap? (ie: Fairy Liquid or similar). Any other tips? Thanks guys!    

  You know what you're talking about, lived in Spain for many years and some of the olive oil there is AMAZING. Spaniards are very proud of it, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be as well known as Italian or Greek...

  Austin, these were given to me by a friend so I wouldn't know, but I've seen your post and at least the flowers look exactly the very same as the ones on this plant. Having said that, many baccatum would have similar flowers so I guess we'll never know for sure...

So, seasons have come and gone and I still don't know what to make of this plant! It's produced quite a few peppers but one thing I do know is it's not a very stable variety, they seem to come in all size and shape... I've taken pictures of the two "most present" shapes...maybe someone wants to...

  True, I must admit I hadn't even thought of Champion, but now that you mention it and that I've been looking at some pictures these resemble very much what I have here... Time will tell!

So... a few weeks have come and gone and this plant is producing its first few pods, as promised I am uploading a few pictures to see if anyone wants to try and guess what this plant will turn out to be! So far all I've established is it's a Baccatum, but I'm sure you guys can enlighten me!      

Not to be ungrateful, but I believe these seeds were given to me by a friend who handed me a few samples so we'll have to blame it on bad labeling on his side  :whistle: Trident, thanks for the offer!! I won't sow any more plants this year but I'll take your word so count on me dropping a line...

Thanks Juanitos!! I'll be careful about that then :) I take it it's just a matter of waiting a little longer between waterings and providing some more ventilation? Any special care this plant may need to recover or will it just be temporary? I don't know if I should expect any changes on the...
