How many yrs have you been growing hot peppers?

This will be my second year. Last year I got a late start so this will be my first full year from seed to plant. Good luck to everyone. Great forum for advice

SOLD-NEW in box Hydrofarm T5-4' 8 bulb fixture

I believe the T-5's are 54 watts per lamp. So an 8 lamp fixture would be 432 watts. Hope that helps.

    Early pod formation?

Thanks for the pics. I thought they started off with the tail but wanted a second opinion. Just got into super hots this season and bought my plants off of ebay. I know it's not the smartest thing to do now that i found this forum. I guess i'll have to see how they turn out.

    Early pod formation?

I have a "Butch T" that is starting to set pods. Do the pods usually take on the shape of the scorpion early in development or does it grow into it's shape over time? Thanks for any responses. Image quality due to phone.

    Flowering question

I have a couple plants that are starting to flower. I've noticed flower drop with stem. The night's are in the mid to low 60's. Are the temps getting to low? Or is it possibly from lack of pollination? Thanks

pics Butch T finally flowering!!! (PICS)

I know i should but i'm new to growing and started late. That's why i bought a light to over winter them with. I plan on getting a jump start on next season. I am more prepared for it this time. We'll see how things go next year.

pics Butch T finally flowering!!! (PICS)

They are in 10 gallon smart pots and it rained here in Texas. So i decided to bring them in out of the weather. They are under a 400 watt High pressure sodium i bought to over winter them with. They've been outside under the Texas sun struggling through the heat and we're finally getting a break.
