Just an update on this for anyone interested. I ended up buying a spinosad based spray (captain jacks deadbug brew specifically, but monterys garden insect spray is the same). After 3 applications 4 days apart each application, no more thrips. I looked extensively and can't find a single thrip...

  Ok, thank you. The thrips should be killed of soon hopefully. I just did my first spinosad treatment a few days ago, and see much less

  Pro-Mix HP is a soilless medium, so I think it is considered hydro, but not too sure

  I think you may be right . I looked up thrips and they look similar. Thanks, now I can figure out how to kill them off :hell: :hell: . Hopefully they aren't difficult to rid of

I hope they are not aphids, I never seem them in person but from pics they don't look like aphids. seem much smaller. Ill try and find one and get agood pic

On this plant lots of the leaves are getting dead or damaged spots on them. I noticed extremely small green crawling things on some of the leaves. I can't even get a picture of them they are that small. Tried searching around but couldn't find anything that looked similar. They are hard to see...
