    Hi I have an Amando chilli plant growing indoors in the UK, the chilli pods are about 8 inches long, green with black patches, will they definitely turn red or I am I at the mercy of the weather. Thanks Dave

    I have just tried another Amando chilli,it's pretty hot, got a bit of a sweat on, a couple in a curry would make it interesting. Pretty sure they will be a bit hotter if left another month as I don't think they are fully ready. Don't think I will be playing silly buggers with the super hot...

    Thanks for the help, feeling a lot better equipped to grow chilli plants now, hope to make some chilli vodka once they have developed some heat, pretty tame at the moment, like eating a runner bean. Hoping they get a great deal hotter in the next few weeks.

    I bought a ring of fire chilli for my son, we have just sampled both, the ring of fire is plenty hot but the Amando was like eating a runner been except the very top which was only luke warm. Have I got a mild chilli or as I hope it needs more time to develop.
