Cayenne peppers. I will be selecting the strongest 1-2 plants and killing the rest this week.
Three cells of black fataliis, and three cells of yellow fataliis. Since my red and yellow rocotos aren't working out for grafting, I will probably concentrate on these plants for grafting. I am not...
The Aji Dulce is indeed getting adjusted. Here is an updated picture of it.
And an update on the orange hab. It has flowers that didn't drop during the transplant, but no buds yet. I am not sure if the grow tent is warm enough for it to set fruit.
Then again, my overwintering MOA scotch...
No problems with the hab at all. I did give it a trim the same time as the transplant though. I would take a picture and upload it but I am working a late shift tonight.
Paul, I suspect you are correct. I am tried to go back and edit, but it appears as though this forum has a time limit. I am still fairly new to actually participating in forums instead of lurking.
I don't want to take to much credit on the rocotos. I got 5/6 red rocotos to sprout. I got 0/4...
Good question why the pics are so small. It was not intentional. The previous pictures I have uploaded directly from my phone, however doing so one at a time got old, so I uploaded these to an image sharing website and linked them. Looks like I am not longer able to go back and edit the picture...
Update on the new before the old:
A mixture of 3 cells of black fatalii, and 3 cells of yellow fatalii. I have never grown either variety, I will be interested to see how they turn out.
When I ordered the fatalii seeds, I got Aji Angol as a freebie. Has anyone ever grown this or know much...
My aji dulce is exploding with new growth, but is showing signs of eadema. I suspect the humidity is a little on the high side inside of the tent for it. The orange habanero is in the back and doing well also. Both have flowers that emerged in the last week.
The little guys are coming along. I...
I would be more concerned about heat from that dryer next door than the led. They just do not put off nearly as much heat as the old HPS and MH systems. If you have any ventilation to prevent stagnant air inside the tent then the heat from the light shouldnt bother the peppers. That being said...
Thank you much for the compliments.
I hoping the ladybugs do a bit of pollinating for me. It means that I will have to isolate flowers if I want to save seed, but hopefully it will up the fruit production.
I am psyched to get the chili red seeds going in a couple of days, but I am still...
I have never grown reapers before so take this with a grain of salt, but my chinense varieties tend to be more bushy than my annuum varieties. This may be what you are observing.
