    NJA you should know by now that I eat to enjoy. I am way over the macho thing. I just had some bottle control issues. I was fine yesterday, tales from the loo today though.

    Ahhhhh. I understand how you must be feeling down under.
    If it was for taste, either the sauce you had or the dish you ate with it must have been crazyly tasty.
    By the way was it the first time you had that sauce?

    too bad you didnt get your pie on in time for the throwdown.. but i hope you cook some anyways!! I'm all pie-d out i think :P too much pie in too little time... who'da thought eh? Hope all is well :)

    Good/bad. The steak, a ribeye, was cooked right but a tad on the tough side and a touch bland. The bloody mary's I had were light on the booze. Service was just average. The real star though was a chipotle mac and cheese side dish. It was KILLER!! Even mrs. blues was all over it. We will be going back just for the mac and maybe pair that with crab cakes. mrs. blues had the filet mignon and loved it with bearnaisse. Only 10 minutes from The Blues Casa, it's a quick fix for a mac & cheese jones!

    hey Jay, Just wanted to say it was awesome meeting you over the weekend! I'm sure you guys had a great time. It looks like we have decided to do Bowers this year so I'll see you again soon. We are gonna hold off on Zestfest and Houson until next year. We still have a lot of nurturing and growing to do out this way with about 14 more festivals between now and the winter before we commit to the more costly events out in Texas.
