    Help me Sweeten my Hot Sauce

    I would only add sweetener when I wanted to use the sauce, and I would prefer to keep the sauce the way it is, but then I do not like sweet sauces.    For storing the sauce, keep it as it is, and only add sweetener when you use it - either to the sauce itself or to the dish your are using it with.

    I'm in Westchester, north of the airport and fairly close to the beach.  We moved here from Venice in order to afford a larger house.  I grow all my chilies in pots because I have terrible soil here, but the soil I had in Venice was great.
