i have a scorpion outdoors in a large tote. i put eye hooks in all 4 corners and tide the plant off to those. i also bungeed the lid down. the plant is 4 feet tall and 7 feet wide so it grabs alot of wind. i have had good luck so far
i had the same problem i was using a semi transparent tote. went to a solid tote and am outdoors now with no problem. prop your lid and plant up between lawn chairs or something similiar and rinse the roots with a garden hose and agood nozzle and it will wash right off.

i have 2 scorps that are flowering now.just thinking about what to do with them come may. i cant see paying for artificial sun in the summer. thanks for the input.
i bake them in the oven at 250 for about a half an hour then cover them with foil and let them cool down.i do this 3 or 4 times before they are dry. works pretty good for me.
i have 18 assorted pepper plants myself in red cups about 2in. high. trying to only give them 6 to 8 hrs. of light a day.first week of may is a long way away.
