What would be a good tote size to grow chills with a drip system in. I was thinking 5 or 10 gallon.

5 gallons seems to be the magic number for most any type of system
as big as you want as long as you can water them corectly
bigger the better hoss.
keep in mind how long they have to grow tho. if you live where i do, you probably still have 3 months of good weather left.
what totes are you looking at? i never really considered using them before.

I was thinking 5 gallon also, but I have to take into consideration that this will be there home for good. They will be grown under lights until april or may if I decide to bring them outside for free light. Just any ole tote from the big box stores, they're durable easy to cut and work great for lots of things.
