i use neptunes harvest fish emulsion and seaweed extract however this year i have been used composted chicken manure and i am like OMG i have already picked two batches of peppers and about to pick about a bushel of beans and tomatoes

i use humidity covers but take them off as soon as i see the first seedling break through as for your light .... plants are like people they need some dark time as well give them 16 hours of light and 8 hours of dark .....

yes i use fish emulsion and liguid seaweed extract mixed together and it seems like just when my plants need them they start getting stressed out like they are telling me FEED ME LOL I also use the pro mix and this stuff is wonderful !!! i also stay away from the chemical and man made growth...

that purplish color is from the bright light usally nothing to worry about

those propaganda mats are worth there weight in gold i would not even try to germinate my own seeds with out one, i like mine so much i bought another one i case the other one decides to take a dump on me

i am glad everything turned out good for you, i live in Indiana and i had pepper plants uprooted tomato plants uprooted lost about 15 limbs out of a huge oak tree in our back yard and lost some shigles to beat all... damn i live 900 miles from the coast and i get this,,,,,, you was one lucky man...
