  • Ok, so you refuse to provide OUR daughter's SSN for tax purposes... WHY?! Just to be a ****?!
Going in again for repairs to my 2013 Chevy Spark. When I inquired about a loaner vehicle, they said they have "rentals". Rental my butt! I am under warranty and my problems are #1 on the list of manufacturer problems. I am NOT paying for a "rental"!
Anyone good with taxes? I got a few questions regarding separation and claiming dependents.
I will NEVER buy another GM product again! Not even two years old and it has been in the shop over a dozen times. Screw you, Chevy!

I've had two VW's, a Nissan, and a Honda ... only the Honda had a good ownership experience in terms of repairs. But, it felt a lot more plastic-y than the rest. YMMV.

I don't need a lot of frills. Reliability and safety are key. I've done a lot of research and the new CR-V has everything I need.

I know that "plastic-y" feeling. I drive a Chevy Spark. It is a very cheaply made vehicle.
Wait... Why am I the one being volunteered to take YOUR kids to see the new Spongebob movie?!

Because you love Spongebob and you have nothing better to do.

If we lived a little closer to the Colorado border I might consider it...
I think I am going to teach my niece to make deep fried grilled cheese sammiches tonight. What could possibly be a more kid friendly meal?!
Got 72 plants started yesterday. Can't wait to utilize my dad's old greenhouse!
    I'm almost a free man!

Thank yall. We are in Wyoming now. Roads were bad so we are staying in a motel for the night so we can drive a bit safer in the daylight. I am terrified to see him. He has lost 140 pounds since I saw him in May and I was told he may not recognize us. Hopefully seeing his granddaughter will bring him around
Just found out that my dad has mesothelioma and so far his prognosis is not good. Sure wish I had the funds to take his granddaughter out west so he could see her one last time.

Thanks, brothers! He is only 59. As much of an SOB as he has been, that is still too young to die! My only regret is that we don't have the money to fly/drive out to have him hold his granddaughter. That would make everything ok for him, as any grandfather would understand.

No doubt. Around here, the best fundraisers always come in the form of food. Jambalaya and white bean plates for $8 a piece....

Anyone have any experience with purple jalapeno? How do I know they are ripe? They were purple from the get-go!

I used "typically" because some are atypical. Could be a difference between our grow conditions. Most of mine start out more green but still turn purple when tiny, a handful seem to come out purple.

I have 3 that start with purple flowers, have purple pods and ripen red. One plant that goes from green to purple and presumably to red, but none have ripened yet.

I seriously think the purples take longer than most other annuums to ripen. But then, maybe I am just most impatient with them. I love the flavor of them when ripe.
I don't get it... My largest plant, my chocolate bhut, is my least productive plant. My peach bhut, which is my smallest, is my most productive. Dafuq?!

My Caribbean reds and red savinas are being exceptionally productive as well.

^Well played! Now if only all of our plants did. Imagine only needing half the garden space and reaping twice the harvest. Maybe the pro growers should ease up on the peeing contest of who has the hottest and focus and who has the most productive per sq. ft.
Bottles are labeled up and ready to ship first thing tomorrow morning. Now if only I figure out how to make the labels not wrinkle a bit after labeling...

Brought reaper brownies into work earlier for my co-workers who knew what they were. Then the owners show up and see a plate of brownies sitting there. Hilarity ensued...

I have one particular "owner" that would love to try that on. He never met a sweet thing he didn't like. <evil grin>

The one who originally spotted them chewed on it for about 5 seconds before catching on and running to get her water. Then after sipping her water she got an evil grin on her face and brought the rest of the brownies out to the other 4 high ups who were having a meeting up front. She has a wonderfully sadistic sense of humor, like myself.
Finished up drying a bunch of pods and turning them into powder last night. 7.5oz, not counting odds and ends bags! Woot!

Oh cool you have the one model above mine I believe...I know the one I have works cause I use it for dehydrating mushrooms (I'm in to mycology as well) just haven't done peppers yet....good luck bud

how long took to dehydrate them?

Really depends on temps. I dried these at a lower temp and it took two days. Now if you bump the temps up to 135, you could do them overnight!
