  • Back from the PA PEPPER FEST. Met some cool people from the forums and now I have A TON of peppers to process. Busy day after.
Wouldn't it be awesome if there was a THP cookbook?

Might be a good way to raise funds for the website - I've seen others asking about ways to support it, this would be kind of neat
I am meticulously pricing and planning my raised bed gardens for next year. I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH HERE!

So true. When I lay down at night I have to keep a notebook nearby because I keep thinking of new stuff. Dizzam.
Awesome evening last night. Hung out with Justaguy and met Pepp3rFreak which led to a bite of a Moruga Scorpion followed by the pain bliss super hot super high. Hells yeah.

Fun times. Have fun with that Bhut(?) Pepp3rFreak let us save from the comm garden. I hope it gets happy again after being transplanted from the ground to a 5 gallon bucket and the pruning.

She's gonna pull through. We had a long talk on the way home.
Wondering how long it takes to lose your hot pepper tolerance. I miss that head exploding feeling I used to get from simple habaneros! Now it's superhot or bust.
Can't wait for PA Pepper Fest. Need to make up for my lack of knowledge when I started growing this season. Bring on the SUPERHOTS!
Earthquake. Great, now the right coast is going to fall into the ocean too.

Maybe the future island climate you speak of will be more conducive to chile growing! :)

    That's what I'm hoping!
Chopped up 1/3 of a scorpion on my bowl of chili. Awesome flavor!

That chili sounds good. My yellow scorpions are starting to pop yellow. I think chili tomorrow morning. Thanks for the idea.

It was awesome. I used my hot sauce as a base. It's never too hot for chili!
Last night I made Queso Fundido enhanced with raw chocolate bhut, Hab meatballs, Hab cream pasta, and old bay chicken - served with a roasted garlic loaf and finished off with a rootbeer float! Sadly, no pics.
My wife (non-chilihead) showed great fortitude eating my habanero pasta tonight. I'll bring her over to the dark side eventually...
