    Fixing leggy chillies

I wonder if you could graft it. As you say your growing season isn't that long and maybe you want to keep the peppers that are growing on it at the moment, I wouldn't pot up any larger and I wouldn't prune either. A stake to support the main stem should be enough. Perhaps take a...

    When Will It End???

I'm from North Leicestershire. At the time of that weird hail, which lasted about 2 mins, the temperature was ~24C and we needed the house lights on at 1.30pm. Crazy weather, never seen it like that before, nor had my 90yrs young neighbour.

    When Will It End???

It's hardly started in the Midlands, so much dull skies and rain. Im sure I heard from the news that an indian summer is likely around september but still I don't think that would be enough. Mother nature doesn't seem to be in a good mood in the UK this year... again. Yesterday was added proof...

    Fixing leggy chillies

I do this a lot for windowsill growing, and it usually puts me back about a month.

    Naga Morich feeling the blues

@Hadoken Thanks. @scratchzilla I could do a tutorial, but I'd need to strip everything down. Trouble is... Although the Naga is now on the windowsill, a Numex Suave has just moved in.

    A little too much Magnesium

I was just searching the internet for information about feeding plants too much magnesium (epsom salts) and came across this > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akZZd7Hz0rE , so I thought I'd share it with you. Enjoy!

    Naga Morich feeling the blues

I'd never tried super hots before so, unless there is a delayed reaction I've been fine playing dodgeball with the rats today.

    Naga Morich feeling the blues

@indoChilli hope it works as well for you. Me and my GF tried a (thin) slice of raw naga on Saturday night before having a naga curry the next night. Oh my... The first 2 seconds was great, it had a lovely aromatic fruity taste then oh no here it comes,.. oh that's not too bad,.. oh my god it...

    Naga Morich feeling the blues

For the reservoir: I use a small propagator tray filled with 2 layers of clay pebbles (the absorbent ones used in hydroponics). For the seeds to sit on: I am still experimenting with this but you need some material that will remain only slightly damp at all times. The heat (from a heat mat in...

shade does different species of peppers have different shades of green?

In that case my answer would be yes. :P My Jalapeno leaves are a darkish dullish green. My Tabasco leaves a lighter more vibrant and glossy green.

shade does different species of peppers have different shades of green?

Yes. My Jalapenos went from light green > dark green > chocolate brown > red. My Tabascos went from yellow > pale green > orange > red.

    Naga Morich feeling the blues

@indochilli For peppers; I think the red only helps where blue is the dominant wavelength needed. And yeah, it does cost a little to set up but I'm sure it works out over time compared to other types of lighting. @CarvinGuitarist Thank you. @Joseph Stalin I don't use any kind of soil for...

    Naga Morich feeling the blues

    Naga Morich feeling the blues

21 Apr: It was time for the Jalapeno to be moved to the windowsill due to overcrowding. Now the Naga has all the space there is and will live alone. I wouldn't like it but the Naga don't seem to mind. 27 Apr: Let there be fruit... I couldn't believe it would set but it did and kept on setting...
