I'm from Brazil and ALL biquinho peppers we have here has 0 heat. absolutely no heat at all.

I've seen people this year having similarlooking pods from reaper seeds directly from pucketbutt...   not saying that it is a reaper though

are those the first batch of pods? 

  You know how it was with those "as seen on TV" stuff people were crazy to get their hands on? Nowadays it is "As seen on YouTube"   That company basically got famous on youtube and that's it. Now there are thousands of hotsauceheads that have no clue on hot peppers

I'm guessing off-pheno pods of habaneros, many of my habs get short like the first picture.   It has the shape of a variety people call pumpkin habanero, but I know it as Pitanga pepper (not even near as hot as a habanero, though): (picture from google)

They most likely ordered those 200 "Carolina Reaper" seeds for $0.25 from aliexpress

I once thought so as well.   a real reaper seed (or super hot in general) should be as hot as the pepper itself. so putting them on top of your tongue is a way to check

  chinense/annuum pepper seeds are all identical in shape, thay only vary in size. you could put them in your mouth once received. (yeah I've done that)

  Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who know absolutelly nothing about plants and they will buy it.   y'know, I've got a lot of great stuff from aliexpress, even some cherry tomato seeds that produced really great fruits. and also things that has nothing to do with plants or gardening  ...

I got the same "reaper" as you Hahahah. It is indeed an annuum   got my seeds from aliexpress (I knew it wasn't reapers even before planting)   The pepper has a good  flavor though   mine has almost no heat at all. have you tasted yours?

Can you post some pictures? are you sure that chocolate color isn't a suntan? just to be sure...
