Epsom salt and neem oil combination

Like tomatoes, can't we just sprinkle a little Epsom Salts directly on the soil and then water?    Do red chili peppers benefit from Epson Salts like tomato plants do?

pests Aphids and honeydew all over my young red pepper plants !

Lovepeppers ....   Well, that strong solution of malathion certain killed these aphids quick ... but now I need to keep these aphids from coming back. I don't want to use that malathion again if at all possible ...     Question > Maybe I should go buy some Neem Oil and spray it on the leaves...

What kind of wildlife do you have in your area?

I live on a golf course ... This friendly guy lives in the small lake behind our house ... typical golf course lake    Lots of large-mouth bass in the lake too     Edit: Fortunately, he has no interest in pepper plants! :D

pests Aphids and honeydew all over my young red pepper plants !

The white flies pretty much ruined my red pepper plants last year ... The bottom of all the leaves were covered with this white cotton looking stuff.   As far as my aphid problem ... These 2 pepper plants must have been full of aphid eggs when I bought them, even though they looked perfect to...

Eggs hatched in your potted plants. ______________________________________   So, I guess the aphid eggs where already on my plants when I bought them from Home Depot?

pests Aphids and honeydew all over my young red pepper plants !

I have 2 red pepper plants that are now about 1 foot high planted in a pot out in my enclosed patio. I purchased these from Home Depot about 3 weeks ago (I live in southern Florida).   2 days ago I checked on them, they were healthy and in perfect condition ... Well, today I go out there only to...

Can you ID this parasite for me (photos)

I just wish they still sold 'Chlordane' .... That stuff would kill any bug, and fast .... None survived!

Can you ID this parasite for me (photos)

That's what I am worried about ... Well, I guess the plant will either be alive (minus the bugs), or be half dead in the morning when I wake up.   We shall see   There are about 30 or more small peppers on it now that haven't started to turn red yet. I really would hate to loose them.

Can you ID this parasite for me (photos)

Well, after doing some reading about killing Mealybugs, they say that after washing the plant with water to get rid of the white powder, then I should dab the infected area with rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab ... That just seems to be too time consuming, so I mixed a real strong solution of...

Can you ID this parasite for me (photos)

Thanks a bunch to everyone .... I will try scraping on those white powder balls to see if something is inside them, when I get better light. This stuff is so small, my eyes just can't really see it any of it good enough.   I was thinking this white powder was caused by those 'White Flies', but I...

Can you ID this parasite for me (photos)

I live in south Florida, so my Thai red pepper plant is in the stage of producing peppers right now.    But, I have a problem ... I have this white powdery substance on the under side of some of my leaves. The powder will wipe right off if you rub it with your fingers, but it is causing a good...

    Pinching Basil Buds---

I have a Thai basil plant that is young. It just started to grow a couple of those purple colored flower buds.   I cut them off because I was told that if you let them grow into flowers, it will make the leaves taste bitter.   Cut them off as soon as they appear.

seeds Same packet of seeds .. Now 2 different plants!

I would take some photos, but my wife is out of the country now, and she has the camera.   I purchased a packet of 'Thai Dragon' (variation of 'Birds Eye') seeds online awhile back. I grew some in separate pots. You can tell the plants are the same species by the shape of the leaves, but one...
