    pod Are these peppers?

If I remember right, orange scotch bonnet, red savina, chocolate balls of fire(my name for a crossbreed that I had form a few years ago. I'll look for pics of those.), purple beauty bell. So I'm guessing I have purple scotch bonnets then. WhooHoo!! Another mutant. I found pics of the first time...

    pod Are these peppers?

Nope, from seeds of peppers I've grown past years. And they are hot. Not a sweet bell.

    pod Are these peppers?

So I have three plants that look nothing like what they should look like. I picked one a few weeks ago and it was sweet at the top, but hot the rest of the way. They look and smell like peppers. Each pic has the name of what it should have been. Some kind of bee induced mutant?? Or some kind of...

The part they didn't tell me. . .

I use a coffee grinder to make my shaker. Just watch out when you open your blender. There will be fine dust. But the more my eyes water, my nose runs, sneezing and coughing, the hotter the shaker will be.

Well I picked yesterday and now have way too many peppers on my hand. What to do? Lollipops and Candied peppers of course. LOL. Thanks to Alden Miller Lollipops (Cinnamon Ghost Pepper) and DaQatz Candied Jalapenos & Habaneros for recipes. First batch of lollipops were normal, no heat. But enough...

    Super Hots

Well all the nurseries didn't have super hots. And I was wrong. After looking at the layout of what I thought I planted and what is growing, it was only two of the four nurseries that I got mislabeled peppers. Sorry about that.   The Ghost peppers I got from Glick's Greenhouse in Oley, PA. They...

    Super Hots

Yea, I didn't think they were right either. Wasn't sure. Four different nurseries and all four had mislabeled plants. But I'll take whatever I get.

    Holy Moley!!

2 plants per bucket. There are 2 buckets that have 3 plants. As for tricks...just Miracle Grow All Purpose once a week. It's the same soil since I started growing again in 2009.         Thanks. I'll look into rellenos. Not sure what I'll make with them yet.

    2015 Pepper Hauls

Well this is the eighth picking. My best haul this season. And still loads on the plants. I hope the season holds out long enough to let them ripen.

    chinense Chocolate Reaper

I agree ajdrew. I'm growing peppers from seeds from the past years. Only problem is, I only marked the envelopes with the year. Not the type of peppers. It's been fun trying to figure out what they are as they grow.

    dried Dried super hots

I do that every year. Dehydrate everything from sweet bells to ghost/scorpions. Grind it up and mix together. Makes a great tasting shaker.
