    Unknown Ridiculously Hot Pepper

Well the first bite tasted like eating something toxic, plus a ridiculous amount of heat. My guess is that it was probably spoiled at the top where I bit it, because I was trying hard to spit it out over next half hour. But later it tasted good, no real distinctive flavor (maybe a bit fruity and...

    Unknown Ridiculously Hot Pepper

I doubt it's a true superhot, its appearance was not extremely wrinkly and evil looking like most (all?) of the superhots. It looked unassuming, that's why I bit into it without much thought at first. Its skin was fairly thick. It's very hot but I could finish it off with a pizza so it can't be...

seeds Don't you hate "helmet head" seedlings?

I had a few "helmet hads" recently. Most of them dropped the seed on their own but the few that didn't I just gently pulled the seed away from the plant. Seemed to work - although I chipped the very top of the leaves of one plant but I'm reasonably sure it will recover.

First time grower, have some questions

Hi all   First time ever growing hot peppers here, I have some limited experience with other vegetables but not hot peppers.   I have a few varieties, I started germinating them mid-January and most of them sprouted and I already have several baby plants. I also have some milder varieties going...
