Word on the street, Osama Bin Laden

It amazes me more Americans don't have this view. How many times can you be lied to and still believe the stuff they spout out. Some very intelligent repsonses here which I think is great. Mainstream media makes me want to stab myself in the eye with a pen. Whoops! I'm going to Gitmo!

    My first Jolokia, budding?

No doubt MMMM! Yeah those super hots are slowish growers, but then they give and keep on giving. I'm a NOOB but I reckon you'll go ok up dere in the Queenslands. Only a couple of months and you can start some seeds for the new season too.

    Petrol/gasoline prices

They screw us and smile. What can you do? Nothing..they know it. I cycle when I can, I'm not sticking it to the man but I'm looking after my own wallet. I think revolution is still a fair way off, I mean, people still actually give a shit about a royal wedding.

    Candice's 2010/2011 grow season

Great pics! I got to see where that delicious hot sauce comes from  Shame your season wasn't so good. If it makes you feel better I bought my seeds from you and thoroughly enjoyed the whole journey from seed to big fat pods. I can't wait to see what seeds go on sale from this season!

pics Some pics nearing end of season

Thanks! I have an interest in photography, mainly stuff that moves though. The end of season is right, although when you think of it the start of the season is only a few months away! I can sense the excitement in the northern hemisphere with pepper growers and I'm enjoying reading the posts...

    New members

I used to browse the forum to get info, then ended up joining. I would post more but, the experienced growers are better suited to answer the questions! I can't really offer much advice but I'll pipe up with talk of some sort. Everyone here seems to be committed to the same cause, hot peppers...

    Sandgropers Pick of the day

Geeez you got some serious peppers there, and knowing the amount of plants you have...good times! Those little light coloured pods bottom right of picture, what are they? I have a plant labelled habanero but it's tiny and has these same light coloured pods. Cheers

pics Some pics nearing end of season

Yeah I couldn't help but try eating a whole Bhut. It was a small one and yes, I was well aware they are just as hot! I'd do it again but someone would have to pay me some cold cash. So I'd stick with your get paid for pain option if it ever arises ;) They go great in food though, sweaty, nose...

Taste notes, very tasty. I'm actually quite impressed by the taste of the super hot pods. I did try eating a Bhut and it kicked my arse! The heat is intense but the stomach pain is pretty uncomfortable, although I was silly to eat it on an empty stomach. Australia is temperate but not all...
