Thanks brother!
I just got back! One of the many perks of living in Miami is being able to run to the Bahamas and back same day! We speared about 25 of these bad boys plus much more! I'll get a pic of the full catch tomorrow
Ok guys just got home from a successful day of snook fishing and found my seeds had arrived! Perfect timing too as I am headed to the Bahamas in the early AM! Pictures below!
i think I'm going to buy the 5 gallon fabric pots on amazon. They are selling them 10 for $20!!
also that plant is a beast!!
Did you top that plant or did you let it grow naturally?
awesome! ill be moving them up tomorrow in that case. Should I clip the flowers one last time before the switch? as you can see in the photo they each have about 20 flowers at the moment
Hey guys, I have 6 scotch bonnet plants that have all been topped. I've been picking the flowers off so that they can concentrate on growing. At what size do you guys recommend I stop taking the flowers off and let them bloom? I put a hanger up next to one for size reference.
CSB sent me a few seeds for the grow down! I will be planting them on the 20th when I return from vacation. I will be posting once a week once the seeds have sprouted. Thanks CSB!!!
WOW! All those cutting boards look ridiculous! I think I may have to try my hand at that! I think I'll make a snook or a red fish that has a knot where the tail would be to resemble the dot... Thanks for the ideas, guys!
You can definitely tell thats a flounder! Is the other a mackerel or a tuna?
Man I feel like such a novice! I'm only growing 5 (6) types this year:
Red Scotch Bonnet
Chocolate Scotch Bonnet
Pink Habanero
Yellow Monkey Face
Cachuchas (aji Dulce)
I will also be growing Aji Cristal for the grow down but it's not in the ground yet so i wont count it...
I figured it out! Pictures of the end result below! I used some scotch bonnets that I had dehydrated for an extra spice as well as cayenne pepper powder. This is teriyaki flavored as well, so it's a sweet and spicy batch!
