Hi all!! Sorry for the delay in posting!!!   Here's a few shots from tonight!   OK, first up....these are the plants that somehow survived the winter here. I planned to properly "over-winter" them, and cut them back etc...but truth be told, i did absolutely nothing! (oops!) Out of the 60 or so...

Many thanks Stickman!!!  Oh, and for the record, i couldn't get any of my Macedonians to germinate this year, which is bizarre as they were the first to germ last year and there were lots of them!! I guess they are a bit fickle?! lol   And if anyone can answer the question whether last years...

Newbie having problems with a Trinidad Scorpion, need help.

Receiving the best advice for your plants from a forum is always going to be a really hard call, as i have discovered from my first grow last year. Posting pics of your plants helps a little, but as everyones grow is different then it's so hard to get a 100% firm answer on what the problem is...

LOL...I'd say the fact that someone like Bakers Peppers is stating to do it, then that would be enough evidence for me!!!   ;)

    Newbie problem

How good is your potting mix? I had huge problems with my first grow as my plants would be looking great, but then i potted them up and they would all start losing leaves / going yellow etc. It turned out to be the potting mix i was using. I switched to a decent brand and problem solved!

Hi Stick.....yeah, the Manzano's are a funny bunch aren't they? From memory, my Manzano's were a pain to get going too....and even when they were looking established, the flowers would all drop off rather than pollinate. I guess it makes it all the more special when they do though :) I have a...

Nice one!! Keep me posted on the Macedonians as they were really fast to germ for me :) OK, i haven't posted many pics for a while, so here's some from today :) After spraying for possible broad mites, the new growth seems to be going ok. Not all of my plants seemed to suffer, but a fair few...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

The quarantine laws here are so strict compared to where i originate (Cornwall, UK) I can understand that they are keen to keep pests out of the country, but it does seem a bit overboard. I remember the first time we visited Australia, and about 45 minutes before we landed there were 2 airplane...

Holy moly!!!!!!! The crazy stuff continues here in Australia for us!!!! I submitted one of my sons old ping pong tricks videos to Channel 9's "Australias Funniest Home Videos" show late last year, and totally forgot about it... My wife received a phone call on Wednesday to say that our clip...

OK, here goes! I have sprayed my plants with some Yates Lime Sulpher and have fingers crossed.... How often do you guys repeat the process, bearing in mind the fact that as you can't easliy see them it's hard to know if they're gone or not? At least with aphids you can kind of see what you are...
