The last pic looks like the soil is VERY wet. This was my first year growing and I had a few look like that due to over watering and trying to give to much love. I added come Cal Mag after they dried out and they recovered.

I had never heard of this pepper before (still new to growing), but after seeing this I had to look it up. I'm confused though... all the sites I'm looking at say that the peppers grow to 2-3cm. Your's look to be about twice that. Also your plant, even after trimming appears to be about 3 times...

I've started a few Habs in pots for an experiment before starting full force next year. I am using the Miracle Grow moisture control mixed with some mushroom compost and perlite. So far, they are growing like weeds. Huge leafes and a nice dark "health" green color. They are looking far better...

I saw there was snow in the upper mid west already.... does snow count as frost?

I am simply using 2x 2x4 shop lights (T12) with 6400k bulbs.I am growing 6 orange habs and 6 trinadad scorpions. Granted they are only a little over a month old, but doing well and growing just fine. There in 6" pots and have plenty of room to grow for awhile.

My folks used to put Tabasco on my fingers because I was chewing on my finger nails. It apparently didn't work to well as I now eat and grow my own hot / super hot peppers, order my sauce online as there is only 1 local place that makes anything even close to spicy, and I still have no finger nails.

With all the talk of a zombie apocalypse, dooms day, end of the world...I was wondering if any of you "preppers" out there have the hot pepper seads in your bug out bags? I realize that most only plan for 3 days, but many assume the worse and take everything but the kitchen sink. Thoughts?

This is very cool. Just to make sure I am getting this right, you are hoping/expecting to actually have 2 different peppers growing on a single plant. This could be really cool at Christmas time to have red and green peppers...
