plant Mystery plant via compost or bird? Immaculate conception?

Hey Guys, Well our city has been through the worst flood in it's history over the last five days. My chilli plants have taken a hiding. But the mystery chilli has got some colour on it the last 3 days, and I think we have a winner. I think DocNrock was the first to call the identity. What do...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

I picked these today, they were meant to be some sort of red fire cracker chilli (can't remember the bunnings name on them, but I bought them cause the picture looked like a Red Hab...but guess what? Orange. grrr ;-P) p.s Gas - gave them to some co-workers who cut 'em open and ate them there...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

Hey Guys, I'd vote for the 7 Pot Jonah Yellow - every plant I plant (from Bunnings) turns out to be an Orange Hab. I need some colour in my life :P

Any room in this here competition for a QLD Chilli newbie? I have not got a bad veggie patch. Have only really grown Cayanne, Birds Eyes, Habanero's etc up until now, but am keen to get into some more exotic plants. Never know, enthusiasm might help me - lol Cheers, WFC

    Recipe ettiquette question

Hi Guys, I am new to the forums and thought it best to check the forum rules/moderators for guidance on recipe etiquette. Do all recipes posted have to be the post authors original IP? If a favourite non original recipe is able to be referenced, what is the ettiquette to posting/linking to it...

plant Mystery plant via compost or bird? Immaculate conception?

Hey Mate, I saw your pics and thought exactly the same thing!!! (Especially both of us being in Aus.) They both look similar and have the same initial pale green pods colour. I think mine have gone a little rounder now though compared to the length of yours - WDYT?. It's the square-ish ends...

plant Mystery plant via compost or bird? Immaculate conception?

Hey Mate, Thanks for the response! How hot is it atm in Brissy?!! I'm in Bundy, are your plants wilting by midday too? Mine are in the garden, and I'm walking a fine line between trying to keep them upright and worried that I'm giving them too much water. Re: The Bunnings ones: I wish I could...

plant Mystery plant via compost or bird? Immaculate conception?

Hi Guys, First real post here, so please excuse my n00bness if this is not the place for this post (or they don't even turn out to be chilli's lol) Over the last few years I have only ever grown a couple of capsicum (bell pepper) & chilli plants, and to my knowledge never add seeds to my...

Hi Guys, Short note to say "Hi, the site is great. Thanks for hosting such a great forum!" Been lurking a while, thought it time to post a "Hi" thread, especially since I have had a strange Capsicum plant pop up in my garden and am looking at the "ID forum" hoping someone might be able to help...
