    New Tiller advice

+1 to the trade offer, throw out a post on craigslist or something to see if any local want to assist. Also, do you have any local tool rental places? Perhaps renting a tiller out a couple times a year would be a good choice as it wouldn't put you out all that money.

    New Tiller advice

Awesome news, 15 miles away for cub cadet service is great and you will be covered for 3yrs. The 65`s transmission has nothing really to do with the dual action tines other then being cheaper made with its setup. Most decent rear tine tillers offer forward and reverse tilling, although what you...

Danger - Dog owners who compost

OMG first and fgoremost I'm glad to hear the poochs survived!!   I compost and my dogs are always sniffing around it but I've never seen them get into the barrel to munch down anything. They do graze my yard like cows and eat any and everything so I'm sure they'd be happy to chew through some...

    Justaguy's 2012 Garden Season

I don't believe using water only will make a plant grow tall and leggy. I never start nutrients until several weeks after germination and never had leggy plants. Perhaps it's your germination method that starts them off leggy and they continue this way? Will make for an experiment for ya next...
