Can someone link me a good PH tester?

You're missing a lot me thinks. Hydro plants don't grow on their own but as the result of a balanced nutrient solution within an acceptable pH range. One can use drops on the cheap. But again, you get what you pay for. If +/- 1.0pH doesn't seem high as an error rate, tickety boo. I paid for...

tutorial Beginner's guide to AACT/Compost Tea

Racist. He's an Albertan. They like to keep it in the family, on the farm, or in the stable. Still waiting on your exceedingly efficient and timely government (AG extension) to email the references of said studies used on a number of their websites. Bloody hell slow.

Yeah that ^ Hanna also makes a good pen. You get what you pay for.

    Anyone use this stuff?

Check with the company and ask for a guaranteed analysis of all macro/micros. Sometimes it's merely a matter of leaving it off the label (many only list NPK or NPKCa).

    Microbial question

I couldn't put it better than Noah. If you want to mess with the grow store owner, ask him his opinion on adding Trichoderma (mycoparasite) species to tea (most hydro store inocculants are 90% Trichoderma. Apply directly to bare roots, compost tea is supposed to be cheap. microbeorganics.com...

media A guide to growing peppers in coco coir

Great information all around. Glow provides a good general resource through manixbotanix.com. Yes, he sells nutrients, but there is more factual information (citations and references galore) on coir there than most cannabis forums. I would say I find it preferable to add nutrients and then pH...

    media Coco advice

Flushing with RO is a big no in coir, you're upsetting the balance of nutrients in cation exchange sites and removing the nutrient solution available to roots. If you feel you have to flush, use a weaker (0.5ish EC) solution. Only bricks need to be flushed and charged (as a general rule)...

    Propagating setup question

Biological Mosquito Control contains Bti in greater concentration than most products. Good for shipping. Pyrethrin bombs knocks out adults, sticky strips to catch the stragglers.

Aphids, thrips, mites? pretty much whatever!

Ivermectin is precisely the problem.   Mike Delamater is the owner, no?   Given your version of events is the fourth or fifth story floating around, you'd think he would be trying to explain to the public what exactly happened, yet all social media has been shut down/restricted.   Considering...

Guardian Mite Spray - Ivermectin for all!

Clown town. http://www.oregonlive.com/marijuana/index.ssf/2016/01/oregon_flags_potential_problem.html Owner of company surprised to learn he needs to list ALL active ingredients on label.

Aphids, thrips, mites? pretty much whatever!

http://www.oregonlive.com/marijuana/index.ssf/2016/01/oregon_flags_potential_problem.html Ouch. But it's ok. He didn't neglect to include ivermectin on the label, he just didn't think everything he added needed to be mentioned or listed.

    HPS or MH?

Plant mass will be the same under MH or HPS, given similar intensity at canopy, one just produces shorter plants, the other leggy, respectively.

SM90 is good stuff (soil drench, not expensive foliar).   Trichoderma inocculant? re:mycoparasite. It would even work as a selling point.

indoor Mold problems with potted indoor pepper plants

SM90 is your friend until you get a handle on why it's happening and how to provide proper growing conditions.       As well, try to avoid the clusterfuck response to perceived issues. Almost everyone has been there, the key is to slow down and implement one change at a time. There will never be...

    grow room(closet) humidity issue

Hyyyyup     Forcing plants to accomodate your conditions isn't going to end well. At the least buy a hygrometer and a chatchy little dehum. The combo temp/RH dealios at any grow store will set you back a whopping ten dollars.
