I have a problem with aphid farmer ants. I'm too keen on using pesticides (health reasons) so I'm using my own soap and garlic mixture and just spraying the little jerky aphids off my plants. This seems to work for a few days then the little SOBS are back.    Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a ferment going that I believe has to much carrot in it. Is there a way to neutralize that flavor of the carrot after the ferment is complete? It's just an experiment so I'm not to worried (I have other batches going) but I want to salvage it if I can :)   Thanks!
