Had a week of frost and wanted to take them out honorably before they looked sickly.
Hit them with the hedge trimmer and lawnmower. I could hear some dude 2 houses down break into an uncontrolled coughing fit after hitting em with the lawn mower for a bit.
Tomorrow will buy a few bails of straw cover then throw some lawn fertilizer on top of that to kik start things.
