52 minerals

I have read that soil is supposed to contain 52 minerals. My question is, does anyone know of a fertilizer that contains most or all of these minerals?

Nope, I've only heard of these:

Nitrogen
Phosphorous
Potassium

Calcium
Magnesium

Zinc
Iron
Boron
Manganese
Copper
Sulfur
Molybdinium

Welcome to THP Sheriff Dan

Azomite has 70 trace nutrients/minerals: http://www.azomite.c...id=60&Itemid=53

There are two bulk-quantity sellers on ebay that have the lowest price, i've purchased from both of them, including other products, without a problem. I consider them totally reliable.

HawaiiAl's Seaweed idea is also a great idea imho because you get organic matter along with many nutrients + other stuff like enzymes etc.

where did you see 52? i thought it was just 16 micro nutrients + the 6(?) macro nutrients.

I read it on this website http://goo.gl/HSb4U and then I watched the film and they explained it there some more. Basically soil needs to contain 52 minerals.

I do use seaweed called "sea magic". I have never heard of Azomite but it sounds like what I am looking for. Thanks guys, great info.

Just reading a paper sent to another forum about sea weed it has 60 known nutes 4 growth stimulator's some other stuff they don't know yet. and it makes the soil fluffy

Another +1 for Azomite. I've been using this stuff for the past three years on my whole garden. At 75 to 150lbs an acre initially and 50lbs per acre every year after $45 takes care of me every year... Compared to Kelp Meal at 300 to 800lbs an acre at roughly $70 a 50lb bag the Azomite is my method of choice. I also amend with greensand, rock phosphate and have an unlimited supply of composted chicken manure.

Sounds like a winner to me. I'm going to purchase from one of the ebay sellers mentioned above.

Might have to pick some up someone on CL has some for 30 bucks a bag, here locally. I do rake the algae and seaweed outta the lake and place it in the garden. The worm will eat a 5 gallon bucket in just a few days. I also throw left over multi vitimines around when there outta date.
